Sebastian Perretta es Economista de la UBA y durante toda su carrera laboral se desempeñó en el sector empresarial de la industria veterinaria.

Desde 2002 ha pasado por distintas áreas de la compañía sumando experiencia en Contaduría, Finanzas, Control de gestión, Innovación, Marketing, Comercialización y Comunicaciones, lo que le ha brindado un visión muy amplia y estratégica de la industria veterinaria global.

En el año 2015 ha sido nombrado Director de Desarrollo de Negocios y Estrategia teniendo como objetivo la diversificación global de la compañía por geografía y por especies.

Biogénesis Bagó es una empresa de capitales argentinos a la que con sus aportes y el de sus diferentes equipos han contribuido paraque la compañía sea la primera empresa regional en facturación en el segmento de rumiantes en Latinoamérica.

Resumiendo su trayectoria, en los últimos cinco años ha acompañado la etapa de globalización de las tecnologías, luego de haber logrado la consolidación en Latinoamérica.

La visión de negocios de la empresa siempre se enfocó en apoyar estratégicamente a los sectores productivos, específicamente al sector ganadero y de producción alimentaria, con el sector científico en apostar a la innovación como modo de encarar los negocios y a la calidad de los productos y servicios como valor diferencial.

Dr. Michael Hemprich has almost 20 years experience in the Animal Health Industry and prior to joining IDT-Biologika in March, 2014, he was Manager of Business Development and country Manager for Germany and Austria at Dechra Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Dechra, he held senior management positions including Vice President Global Business Development & R&D at LAB International (Montreal, Canada), Regulatory Affairs Manager at Intervet Innovation GmbH and International Technical Manager for Bremer Pharma GmbH.

Michael graduated as veterinary surgeon from the University of Giessen and earned a doctorate degree of Veterinary Medicine from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and has an executive MBA in Biotechnology.

Mr.Molinari is an executive with more than 40 years of experience in managing national and multinational companies, in positions of leadership in several countries and different market segments. In his career, played heavily on M&A processes in the acquired company and also as purchaser.

He also served as “Advisor” in the integration processes of companies with divergent cultures.

Edson started his career in the oil industry working on operations and finance areas for 17 years.

After that he migrates for family businesses in Brazil in pulp and paper, reforestation, network utilities and car rental companies where works for almost 5 years.

Then, for 20 years, served directly in the veterinary pharmaceutical segment as CFO and migrated to CEO positions in several countries (Egypt, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Venezuela and Mexico).

Mr. Molinari is graduated in Mathematics and has a Master Degree in Controllership by the Federal University of Paraná.

Jose Ricardo has 11 years of experience at Ourofino, where he held leading positions in marketing and sales before being appointed as head of Business Development. Before starting his carreer at Ourofino, Mr. Maio spent 4 years as a practitioner in ruminant health and reproduction, and another 4 years as marketing coordinator at Tortuga (now a DSM subsidiary), being responsible for managing the portfolio of animal health and nutrition products.

Dr Paul Dick D.V.M. M.Sc. obtained his veterinary medical degree with honours in 1984.

While working in clinical practice he completed his Masters in Immunology and Virology transitioning into the Pharmaceutical industry in 1988. Dr. Dick has over 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical space including general management and leadership roles, business development, commercialization, regulatory affairs, and product development encompassing medicinal, non-medicinal and natural health products.

His work in this sector has ranged from small ͞start up͟ companies to medium and large multi-nationals functioning in various capacities from research to COO and CEO.

Dr. Dick has worked extensively with Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency on numerous regulatory submissions and on several Departmental Committees.

In addition he has been a recipient of the NSERC Synergy Award and has served as a peer reviewer of NSERC strategic grants. He is currently heading his own consulting firm ( Paul Dick and Associates Ltd.) and is the managing partner and president of a venture capital partnership (Vet Venture Capital Inc.).

Gabriela Espinosa is a Mexican Veterinarian who started her successful career in the Animal Health industry as sales representative for companion animal products with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica in 1998, where she gained extensive experience in distribution channel and third party sales force development.

After a brief incursion in the academic field working in the Continuous Education Department of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Gabriela joined Sanfer Animal Health in 2003 as Product Manager for Companion Animals, being responsible for the successful launch and positioning of a novel concept in animal health in Mexico: generic pharmaceuticals for production animals.

In 2005 Gabriela was appointed as New Projects and Regulatory Affairs Manager. During her seven year tenure, she identified new opportunities in the Animal Health Industry in Mexico and made the appropriate regulatory and supply agreements to introduce new products to Sanfer’s Animal Health portfolio, while managing the growth and expansion of the generic portfolio.

From 2012 to 2014, Gabriela was Marketing and New Products Manager for Sanfer Animal Health, position that allowed her to further develop the product portfolio with a strong interest in a profitable and sustainable business model. During this period she attended the courses to obtain her degree as Master in Business Administration and Master in International Management.

In 2014, Gabriela became Sanfer Animal Health Director. She led the acquisition and integration of IASA (Investigación Aplicada, S.A. de C.V.), an industrial leader in the poultry industry dedicated to the research and innovation on poultry vaccines and antimycotoxin premixes. Sanfer IASA Animal Health is present in America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and is in the top 10 Animal Health companies in Mexico.
She is highly focused on continuing her successful double digit growth trend while developing and strengthening her team in order to address future challenges.

Elcio Inhe began his career in 1973 at Pfizer Animal Health, nowadays Zoetis, assuming, over the years, several functions in the areas of Sales and Marketing. From 1993 to 2001, Elcio was national sales manager for all Business Units of the company: Cattle, Companion Animals, Agricultural, Swine and Poultry. In 2001, he took the position of Cattle Team Leader, responsible for marketing, sales and technical area for both beef and dairy. After, Elcio became Director, Cattle and Equine and Genetics Business Unit, leading the sales and technical team, responsible for visits and technical advice to thousands of Brazilian farms. In 2015 Elcio was appointed Senior Director, Public and Regulatory Affairs, taking his 40+ years of experience in the animal health industry to enhance relationships with key Zoetis’ stakeholders. In 2016, Elcio was elected President of SINDAN, the Brazilian Animal Health Industry Association.

Charles is a healthcare focused investment banker with approximately 20 years’ experience with specialty pharmaceutical companies in the US and Europe. Previously Charles was Managing Director for the international healthcare team at BofA Merrill Lynch and lead at Commerzbank’s global healthcare team. During this time he has advised multiple companies on public and private capital raises, debt financing, mergers, acquisitions and out-licensing transactions.

He has a particular focus on the veterinary healthcare sector, where he has been involved in transactions for almost all of the top 15 companies in the sector. Recent transactions include advising Virbac on the acquisition of the Sentinel and Sentinel Spectrum brands from Novartis, advising Lohmann Animal Health on its sale to Eli Lilly, advising Pharmaq on Permira’s investment in the company and assisting United Biomedical with creating a global strategic alliance for its swine vaccine portfolio.

Charles also chairs the Commercialisation committee of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and serves on the school’s Finance and Planning committee. In addition, he is Chairman of the Bulldog Trust, which funds and supports entrepreneurial charities, and sits on the Boards of Directors of Placehill Limited (growth capital), Laguna Ventures Limited (late stage venture finance) and Atlantic Healthcare plc.

Scott Anthony Brown received his B.S. from the University of Kentucky in 1981. He received his D.V.M. in 1984, and his Ph.D. in Veterinary Pharmacology in 1986, both from Purdue University. He became board-certified in Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology in 1991.

From 1986-1990, Scott was an Assistant Professor of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology at Texas A&M University. He joined Upjohn Animal Health in 1990 and has worked in animal health R&D in various capacities for over 25 years in Kalamazoo. At Zoetis, he is currently Vice President for External Innovation, a unit responsible for seeking, finding, accessing, and delivering valuable external collaborations and technologies that feed the R&D pipeline for Zoetis.

He is the author of over 70 published articles and over 150 internal study reports. He is the past President of both the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology and the American Academy of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and has served on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics.
